Action SF is an all-volunteer group that works to activate voters, promote progressive values, and help Democrats win elections. Since 2017 we have raised over $200,000 for grassroots groups and Democratic candidates. This year it’s ALL ABOUT THE MIDTERMS!
Action SF 2026 Midterm Victory Fund
With the passing of Prop 50, California voters elected to draw new congressional districts to favor Democrats. This was done to neutralize the mid-decade redistricting that was done in Texas at the behest of Donald Trump.
Of the five seats Democrats are attempting to flip, there are two that remain very competitive, CA-22 & CA-48. The other three now favor Democrats by double digits. Action SF is supporting two grassroots groups that will be registering, mobilizing, and energizing new and infrequent voters to insure victory in CA-22 & CA-48.
Please join us.

Meet Our 2026 Grassroots Groups
For 2026 we have identified two exceptional groups working in these critical California districts, CA-22 & CA-48. They are: Poder Latinx & Communities for a New California. Each group has an outstanding track record of educating, registering and motivating new and potential voters. They are our “boots on the ground” and they work 365 days a year, listening to voters, supporting their community and driving new voters to the polls. All donations go directly to the two groups through ActBlue. Action SF receives no part of the contribution, we are an all volunteer organization. Please join us in supporting their work!
Poder Latinx is an organization whose members are dedicated to building left-of-center Latino voting blocs in key states and districts. They primarily focus on voter registration and mobilization, but also engage in advocacy for progressive policies and launch legal challenges against state laws that supress voting. Their initial work started in Florida and has grown to a nationwide with teams in Arizona, California, Georgia, Texas, North Carolina and Washington. This year they will be active in both CA-22.
One of every six registered voters in California is a Latina woman. Those 3.2 million women hold the power to decide who represents us in Sacramento and Washington, D.C and could be the deciding factor in Democratic success in both CA-22 & CA-48. Communities for a New California is positioned to meet with Latina voters and address the issues harming their families and loved ones. Members of this group listen to, engage and mobilize voters & non-voters who have historically been left out of public policy decisions.

Why Grassroots Groups?
In today’s political environment, critical elections are determined by very small margins, where winners & losers are decided by fractions of a point. In 2024, CA-13 was decided for Democrat Adam Gray by 187 votes. Voter turnout is the key to winning these races and dollar for dollar, we believe grassroots organizing is the most efficient and effective way to increase Democratic voter turnout. When local grassroots groups reach out to non & infrequent voters in their communities – young people, people of color, and those who feel left out of the process – they educate and inspire potential voters to understand they can make a huge difference with their vote.
Because we believe in the power of grassroots organizing, each election cycle Action SF does the research to identify great groups in critical swing states and districts, and then we reach out to you -- our extended network of friends, neighbors and colleagues – and ask you to support their work by donating through our Grassroots Fund.
We do the research to help you make your political donations strategic, effective, and efficient.
